Tree Shipping Frame design and manufacture

Hydrus has completed on the design and manufacture of a dedicated Christmas Tree shipping frame for a North Sea operator. Numerous frames have been produced over the years for clients worldwide.

The tree shipping frame was designed in accordance with DNV 2.7-1. The frame was equipped with a dedicated toolbox store and NT-2 pin to interface with the Tree, including pinned connections between base and upper frame to allow removal to access the tree.

In spite of CoG of tree not being in centre of frame, the slingset was designed so the frame was a level lift, whether the tree was fitted or not.
